Don't miss this stealth game

Strengths: Gameplay similar to Splinter Cell; cool gadgets; good storyline; great voice acting and music; solid graphics

Weakness: No Tom Cruise; presentation not as polished as Splinter Cell

Mission Impossible: Operation Surma is a game that is loosely based on the MI movies. While it's a shame that there is no Tom Cruise in this game, the exceptional storyline will more than make up for the initial disappointment. This game is very similar to any of the Splinter Cell games but with the addition of some really cool and unique gadgets. The amazing voice acting and music really enhance...

Mission Inconsequential

Strengths: None

Weakness: The entire game

This has to be one of the worst games I have ever played. I am not even sure why I wasted my money purchasing this game. The camera angles are very poor, the action is repetitive and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. You are better off avoiding this game at all costs.

mission impossible

Strengths: fun to use spy gadgets

Weakness: can get frustrating at times, especially during stealth occasions

Mission Impossible: Operation Surma is one of the various stealth games out there for the X box, with game play similar to Thief or Splinter Cell, in which you have to stay hidden and undetected in order to complete your mission successfully. At first glance, this game might look like a cheap imitation or knockoff of Splinter Cell, but it actually has attributes that are better than its...

Great Game, a Diamond In The Rough

Strengths: Great Graphics and Sound.Follows some of the movies scenes

Weakness: Kind of short

Hello. This game is awesome. It follows certain parts of the movies.Like the train scene or the fish tank scene. It has pretty nice graphics and great in game dolby digital. You can break necks and use alot of really cool stealth moves. The game is relatively short but a blast to play through. If you played the N64 Mission Impossible and like it, you will love this one. Thanks

Poor Man's version of Metal Gear or Metal Gear

Strengths: Mission Impossible license, good music and sound, Ving Rhames voices a character, stealth gameplay, gadgets and weapons.

Weakness: Controls and camera are fustrating, nowhere near as good as Splinter Cell or Metal Gear

If you liked Metal Gear or Splinter Cell, then you should probably avoid this game since it's nowhere near the level of excellence that those titles provide. If however, you don't mind that this is a lesser version of those superior franchises, then Mission Impossible might be right for you. It's basically a stealth game with a lot of cool gadgets and weapons. The missions are frustrating though...

Mission Impossible: Operation Surma

Strengths: Weapons and Gadgets are REALLY cool

Weakness: Kind of short

This game is actually decent. I was pleasantly surprised about it. The graphics are relatively good, but the cool part about it are some of the gadgets you get. I don't want to give them away--so just keep that in mind. The only downside was it was kind of short.

Mission Impossible: Operation Surma

Strengths: Mission Impossible license, decent graphics, sound and voice acting, inexpensive price

Weakness: Splinter Cell Lite, some missions are overly difficult, too much trial and error, odd camera controls

For those that like Splinter Cell, you might like this game. It's more like Splinter Cell Lite, for certain, as the story line and graphics aren't up to Splinter Cell, though they're good enough. Some of the missions are good, though others are quite hit-and-miss, where you have to guess at the solution to the mission, rather than think your way through it. Overall, it's more hit than miss. The...

Mission Impossible: Operation Surma

Strengths: Mission impossible franchise and music

Weakness: camera and controls & INSANE difficulty

This is basically a Splinter Cell clone, but not as polished. You can feel the tension in the missions, which makes for an exiciting game, but when things go awry- the camera and controls completely abandon you and it's BOOM- you're dead, or Alarm Sounded mission over. And many of these instances could have been avoided if you only could have pulled the camera back a few feet to actually see your...

Mission Impossible - Operation Surma

This has been quite a year for stealth action gamers--who, I must add, have fallen in love with the genre ever since they’ve played Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance on their Xbox consoles--since there are plenty of games in this genre to choose from now. Adding to the list is a game based on the Mission: Impossible franchise that was revived by two action films starring Tom...

Mission Impossible Operation Surma

Not that I wasn't already looking forward to Metal Gear Solid 3, but now I'm practically desperate for it; with the release of Mission: Impossible -- Operation Surma, the stealth/action genre is officially in need of the swift kick in the butt that Hideo Kojima & Co. will undoubtedly provide.

Mission Impossible Operation Surma

There's no Tom Cruise to push Mission: Impossible Operation Surma. There's not even a Peter Graves. Even with those tremendous omissions, the latest stealth-action game from Atari, developed by Paradigm, comes off just slightly north of decent. It streamlines a lot of the controls and functions that may have intimidated gamers who stumbled through Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid 2. However, for...
