Product Title: EA Games MVP Baseball 2005
Manufacturer: Electronic Arts
Power Score: 4.5 | 9 Reviews
Strengths: One of the best sports games I have played. Lots of detail went into the game. Definitely recommended if you like baseball.
Weakness: Can be pretty challenging. It's not all about hitting. You got to pitch very well to win and also manage your money.
This game is one of the best. It's not all about hitting. Pitching plays a big part in the game, as it does in real life. You also have a farm system, so developing prospects is very important and sending players down for experience is important. In the owner mode, you build your own stadium, set ticket prices, and prices for food and souvenirs. Many of the times, we were losing money and finally...
Strengths: The MVP Baseball 2005 for GameCube is an awesome game. Loads of fun, all the players and great graphics. I haven't stopped playing it since I got it and strongly recommend it.
Weakness: I thoroughly enjoy playing the EA Sports MVP Baseball 2005 for GameCube. I don't know of any improvements that would make the game more enjoyable.
If you like baseball you will love MVP Baseball 2005 for GameCube. It is a terrific game. When you play you'll feel like you're at the ballpark. All of today's great players and lots of strategy. You won't want to quit playing.
Strengths: Lots of options, great controls, plenty of stats
Weakness: This version lacks online play that Xbox and PS2 have
MVP '05 is the probably last iteration of major league baseball you'll see for a while by EA, as Take-Two now has exclusive rights to the MLB. That said, it is a worthy swan song for a great game franchise. It's more than a roster update over MVP '04, as it includes many new features like the ability to fine tune even more aspects of the game's controls and even single-A farm teams. I consider it...
Strengths: The graphics of the baseball players are good and clear. You actually feel like you are at a game stadium.
Weakness: It is confusing. The batting and catching and the outfielding is hard to manuever. There is a lot of button-pushing just to get an out.
It was fun to play and it isn't too hard. But it is confusing and I just wanted to play and not spend a great deal of time trying to figure it out just to play, bat and/or get an out. But since it is winter, it is fun to feel like you are at a game and playing baseball.
Strengths: Realistic, tons of options, very high replayability
Weakness: The first few games you play will be very tough until you get the hang of controls and seeing the pitches.
This game is a blast, and is a great baseball simulation. Owner mode is a ton of fun and actually makes you think about player salary, instead of just getting the best players possible at whatever price. Even at this point it's still a challenge to beat the computer on the middle difficulty settings. Graphics are great, control eventually becomes second-nature, and the ability to manage a major...
Strengths: Great game for baseball fans. The graphics and sound are good and you really feel like you're playing pro ball.
Weakness: This game takes up a lot of memory blocks, 524 blocks.
This is one of the better baseball games that I have played on the Gamecube system. I made some awesome infield plays. There are many different pitching styles to try. This is a great game for the money. I paid 26 USD.

MVP Baseball 2005
Strengths: Very fun gameplay, and the controls are very easy. Graphics are outstanding. New Hitter's Eye feature lets you read the picth every time.
Weakness: Owner Mode may be very difficult for some. No regular season mode, only franchise. Weak soundtrack and commentary.
This is the best baseball game I have ever played. The gameplay is smooth with easy controls. Its a hard game to master, but anyone will be able to pick this one up quickly. The graphics in this game look amazing, especially the players and stadiums. There are all the MLB teams to choose from, including triple A, double A, and single A teams. All have updated rosters for the 2005 season. In owner...
