Strengths: excellent sound and graphics, good controls, interesting storyline
Weakness: short gameplay with Kong, and overall short story
Excellent buy that's woth every penny. This will definitely be one of the best games of its kind. The movie was record smashing, and no doubt the game will probably be!
Strengths: Graphics, Sound, Kong game play
Weakness: Story, Repetitive game play, short
Though this is by far a decent Kong game it definitely could have been beefed up from its movie counter part. The game tries to follow as close as possible to the movie and maybe they should have followed it to the tee. Their are slight differences between the movie and the game and this is what hurts the game as a whole. The slight differences in storyline between the movie and game really make...
Strengths: (1) An interesting take on a movie tie-in, more successful than other licensed movies (2) An older game which can be had a low cost
Weakness: (1) Graphics lack detail which makes navigation somewhat difficult (2) Low framerate which makes for rough turning and causes me to feel a bit sick!
Peter Jackson's King Kong for XBOX 360 is, undoubtedly, the best console version of the game. It offers decent graphics for its time, as the game launched with the XBOX 360. The way the game ties into the movie is mostly successful, however, it is a very short game, with little reason to experience it past the first play through. I also found the first-person viewpoint to be a bit claustrophobic...
Strengths: Excellent graphics. Mix of gameplay. Sound and music.
Weakness: Short, very little replay value.
While King Kong was one of the early games for the Xbox 360, it still stands strong in several departments. The graphics are well above average, as well are the sound effects. The gameplay is mixed up between first person shooter and third person adventure styles. However, being that it is closely based upon the events of movie, it is rather short. I personally beat it in two sessions of only a...
Strengths: Looks and sounds wonderfull. Great graphix!! Good for some quick gamer points
Weakness: Weak gameplay and too short. No replayability and no online. Few glitches.
This game is worth the low cost but not much more. May just want to rent it. Once you played it you will be done with it. Wish they would of put more effort in making it a longer game. Just like to other consoles versions, just with tweaked graphics. But hey it is a movie title and these are never the Best.
Strengths: Nice supplement to the movie; provides a quick and easy way to fluff up your gamerscore
Weakness: Little replay value; gameplay and certain elements of the presentation aren't up to next-gen standards
As an Xbox 360 launch title, Peter Jackson's King Kong served its purpose: It sucked gamers in with gorgeous graphics and provided some great (if short-lived) gameplay thrills. However, because the game was developed for multiple platforms, the Xbox 360 version wasn't all it could have been. Although the graphics were given the next-gen treatment (and even they exhibited rough spots), the...
Strengths: Good graphics and sound, easy to get achievements, great gameplay
Weakness: No replay value, short game length
King Kong is a videogame adaptation of the recent movie remake. Most of the game is done from the first-person perspective as Jack, with the ending gameplay as King Kong. The action is done well, if a little simple. The game looks great and sounds very impressive, though once the short length is done with, there's no reason to play it again, save collecting all the game's achievements. As the...
Strengths: GRAPHICS, FREEDOM OF CONTROL
Weakness: SHORTNESS OF GAME
THIS GAME REALLY PACKS A PUNCH IN THE SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME THAT YOU HAVE TO PLAY IT. REALLY ALOT OF FUN WITH THIS FPS AND THE GRAPHICS ARE TOP NOTCH FOR A 1ST GEBERATION RELEASE ON THE XBOX 360. THE STORY RUNS PRETTY CLOSE TO THE MOVIE AND REALLY EXCITING TO PLAY AS KONG. WORTH GETTING TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION!
Strengths: Story line
Weakness: Dizzy camera and first person view
King Kong has an interesting story and game play. For example, you can throw bones and spears to kill dinosaurs. In addition, it's relatively an easy game, so you can rapidly increase your gamer score with it. However, my major gripe is the first person camera. Often I cannot find my way out of the trails alongside some mountain rocks – every direction looks the same. So I quickly get dizzy....

I was surprised. For a movie game, its actually...
Strengths: Everything
Weakness: Nothing
Alright, lets face it. Movie games typically suck. Although this one was actually pretty good. Sound is phonominal (especially when you have 5.1 surround sound). Graphics are good. Some tiny visual upgrades for the next gen version, but not much. Theres around forty levels, but each one takes around 5 minutes to beat. some require just running to a certain spot. You get all the gamerscore for...
